Dracakis Jewellers named 2012 Australian Small Business Champions!
Dracakis Jewellers have been named Champion Jewellery Store at the Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony held on Saturday 21st April at the Westin Sydney.
The Australian Small Business Champion Awards is the only national program of its kind to recognise the achievements and performances of small businesses and winning is one of the highest accolades small businesses can aspire to.
This year’s program culminated with a memorable award presentation evening attended by national finalists, sponsors and dignitaries. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Gretel Killeen. Gretel is well known on radio and television and presented shows such as Big Brother. The Federal Minister for Small Business, The Hon. Brendan O’Connor MP and NSW Minister for Small Business, The Hon. Katrina Hodgkinson MP were also in attendance. Entertainment was provided by popular female artist from X-Factor, Sophia Conn, lead singer of the group, Three Wishez and Sophia was joined on stage for a special performance with finalists from So You Think You Can Dance.
Dracakis were proud winners of this prestigious award in the competitive category of Jewellery Store in 2007 and are honoured to take the prize home again this year.
